That's good to know. I'm about 2/3s through Kimball's Life Cycle Toolkit. Not a bad book overall, gives a fair overview of various BI scenarios. However I find a lot of the cases to be overly simplistic and not applicable to a real world problem, especially when dealing with a huge enterprise companies. Maybe I just haven't seen it applied in practice that's why. Also the book isn't that easy to read. Any IT book is already a hard read because you're reading about technology or a process, so you kind of have to visualize everything in your head as you're reading. So making it an easy read is crucial in my opinion. Thoughts?
Also can you give couple of examples of the good pieces mentioned in DV opposed to Kimball's book?
